Teresa Trovato has twenty-four years of experience as a publicist in the arts and entertainment industry. Based in Vancouver, B.C., she has worked on national events including festivals, music tours, and comedy tours. Her career began in the music industry where she implemented numerous publicity campaigns for artists signed to Universal Music and Sony Music Entertainment Canada. In addition to working with major label artists, she launched the careers of many local independent artists. Teresa joined Paul Mercs Concerts in 2011 and led national publicity campaigns for artists such as Heart, Raffi, Pearl Jam, and Brent Butt. Over the past seven years, Teresa has turned her focus to the arts and has worked for various organizations including MADE | NOUS, TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival (2019 & 2021), JFL NorthWest (2016-2018), PuSh International Performing Arts Festival (2015 & 2016), Vancouver Queer Film Festival (2015-2018 & 2020-2021), Chutzpah! Festival (2019), Firehall Arts Centre, The Cultch (2015-2020), Mitch and Murray Productions, Realwheels Theatre, Some Assembly Theatre Company, and more. Teresa has also served as a juror for The JUNO Awards in 2008, 2021, and 2022.
